Joe Cohen Worcester Retailer of the
Year Award to be Presented at
25th Business Expo

Last year, The Breakfast Club at the New England Business Expo was chosen as the setting for the first ever presentation of the “Joe Cohen Worcester Retailer of the Year Award.” SCORE Worcester teamed with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce to present this award in honor of Joe Cohen’s legacy. Mr. Cohen was the owner of Henry’s Paint and Wallpaper and an active member in the community for more than 50 years.

Awarded to a successful Worcester-based retail business that understands the importance of giving back to the community, this honor will be presented once again on Thurs., Nov. 3 at the DCU Center.

Don’t miss this event as the winner for 2011 is unveiled at The Breakfast Club along with the events usual salute recognitions. The guest speaker for the event will be Jim Koch, founder and president of The Boston Beer Company, producer of Sam Adams lager and many other favorites.

SCORE Worcester is a part of the Small Business Administration that provides free counseling to start-ups and small businesses to help them succeed. Joe Cohen worked closely with SCORE Worcester and served as a counselor to businesses and as a mentor to other counselors. They are very pleased to honor Joe’s memory with this award.
